La Quinta Edizione di Over The Real – Festival Internazionale Videoarte si terrà a Lucca dal 30 settembre al 4 ottobre 2020. Anche quest’anno la manifestazione, in partnership con il Lucca Film Festival Europa Cinema, presenterà le più significative linee di ricerca emerse negli ultimi anni nel panorama internazionale delle arti audiovisive e delle performance intermediali. Saranno esposte 77 opere di artisti provenienti da Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgio, Canada, Cina, Corea del Sud, Danimarca, Finlandia, Francia, Germania, Giappone, Grecia, Iran, Iraq, Irlanda, Israele, Italia, Paesi Bassi, Palestina, Polonia, Portogallo, Regno Unito, Russia, Serbia, Spagna, Togo, Ungheria, Usa.Il Festival diretto da Maurizio Marco Tozzi, Lino Strangis, Veronica D’Auria (C.A.R.M.A., Roma) vede la collaborazione di un importante network curatoriale per questa edizione composto da: Alessandra Arnò (Visual Container, Milano), Gabriel V. Soucheyre (Videoformes, Clermont Ferrand, Francia), Wilfred Agricola de Cologne (artvideoKoeln, Colonia, Germania), Marc Mercier (Istants Video, Marsiglia, Francia), Marina Fomenko (Now & After, Mosca, Russia), Eirini Olympiou (ADAF, Atene, Grecia). Sarà inoltre reso omaggio al Maestro Fabrizio Plessi, realizzati incontri didattici, talk, presentazioni di libri e tante altre sorprese che vi sveleremo a breve. Over The Real sarà ospitato dall’Auditorium Vincenzo da Massa Carrara – Fondazione Ragghianti e dall’Auditorium Palazzo delle Esposizioni. Il Festival si avvale del supporto della Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca e di Emanuel Bertuccelli (Family Banker – Banca Mediolanum).
The Fifth Edition of Over The Real – International Videoart Festival will be held in Lucca from 30 September to 4 October 2020. Also this year the event, in partnership with the Lucca Film Festival Europa Cinema, will present the most significant lines of research that have emerged in the last years in the international panorama of the audiovisual arts and intermediary performances. 77 works by artists from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, South Korea, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Togo, Hungary, Usa. The Festival directed by Maurizio Marco Tozzi, Lino Strangis, Veronica D’Auria (CARMA, Rome) sees the collaboration of an important curatorial network for this edition composed by: Alessandra Arnò (Visual Container, Milan), Gabriel V. Soucheyre (Videoformes, Clermont Ferrand, France), Wilfred Agricola de Cologne (artvideoKoeln, Cologne, Germany), Marc Mercier (Istants Video, Marseille, France), Marina Fomenko (Now & After, Moscow, Russia), Eirini Olympiou (ADAF, Athens, Greece). It will also pay tribute to Maestro Fabrizio Plessi, didactic meetings, talks, book presentations and many other surprises that we will reveal shortly. Over The Real will be hosted by the Vincenzo da Massa Carrara Auditorium – Fondazione Ragghianti and by the Palazzo delle Auditorium Exhibitions.
